Dear; Professor Von UhI

As of right now, I am undecided but, I am working towards going into computer science as my major. This major gives me a lot of options career-wise. Three options that I have with this major are becoming an air traffic controller, software engineering, and real estate. I am hoping that taking this class helps me not only improve my writing skills but strengthen my grammar as well. In all, I better the quality of my writing going into the profession of engineering.

The plan I have for my future self would be to graduate with a computer science degree. I would like to have to decide on which career I would like to do. But it would most likely be an Air Traffic Controller. When I graduate college I will be 20 years old. After or before I graduate, I would start looking for jobs in my career.  As of right now, I want to have the job of an Air Traffic Controller for as long as possible. When I retire I would like to become a real-estate agent part-time because I don’t think I could just possibly stay doing nothing. Originally I wanted to become a pilot and it’s still an option but it’s lower on my list now. I chose this career path because of what it means to me and how it makes me feel. An airport is where families gather together whether for a happy or sad occasion; they’re together united. Family plays a big role in my life. My family taught me two things; life is hard and family is forever which has stuck with me.

In the future, I imagine a world full of technology where human beings aren’t needed as much for jobs. Computers are taking their jobs and saving companies millions of dollars in hiring. Humans have evolved so much with technology over the years, and they will continue to evolve even more. The importance of computer science is that it helps society gain problem-solving skills, which will be needed in the future to advance technology.

I want to thank you for taking the time to read my letter. I am also looking forward to gaining new knowledge In your class.

Sincerely,

Naidelyn Castellanos
